Official: Confirmed Juventus squad for Derby d’Italia against Juventus
Igor Tudor has named a squad of 20 players for the Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter this evening, which could bring a starting opportunity for centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic according to various reports on Saturday morning.
There are few surprises surrounding Tudor’s selections, but there are a handful of Bianconeri players who will be unavailable to face Inter.
Andrea Cambiaso is suspended and is expected to be replaced in the starting line-up by either Weston McKennie, Joao Mario or Filiip Kostic. There is one more option at full-back this week, as Juan Cabal has been included in the squad for the first time since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) last November.
Francisco Conceicao was forced to withdraw from the Portugal national team squad through injury earlier this week, and has not been included in the matchday squad to face Inter. Teun Koopmeiners is in line to replace the former Porto winger.
The remaining absentees are all due to longer-term injury or fitness concerns. Edon Zhegrova is working on his return to action after nine months out, Fabio Miretti remains sidelined with a hamstring issue, and Arkadiusz Milik is also not fit to play.
