Live Streaming Success!

For the first time in the history of Poole Town Football Club, we trialled live streaming of yesterday’s Southern League Premier South fixture against Farnham Town.

We are delighted to say It was an overwhelming success with over 2,000 total viewers watching along over the course of the ninety minutes.

The ability to live stream sets down a platform like no other for fans and individuals to follow the Dolphins from home.

We had technical difficulties in the early stages of the game, but that was to be expected with it being our first trial run at live streaming.

Due to the Southern League Premier South’s rules and regulations, we are unable to stream Saturday games with a 3pm kick off, however in accordance with the leagues and the oppositions’ agreement we will occasionally be able to stream Tuesday games with a 7:45pm kick off if given the green light to go ahead.

For Saturday games that kick off at 3pm, we will continue to do radio commentary streamed live on X/twitter to allow fans from home to follow all the action home and away.
