Injury prone players
Sorry for starting a new topic, it’s just there are so many different ones at this time of season where we have folks stating a player whom we have interest in won’t work out because they are …. INJURY PRONE
Reality check, guys. Football is still a contact sport (superficially at any rate). The players are all elite athletes, of course there will be injuries, some of them will be severe and many will be repetitious, due to pressure to get them back on the field.
Managed correctly, and I think Leeds have a decent track record here (I mean, look at Paddy and that other bloke, the midfielder, we wrapped them in cotton wool for years), history of injury need not be a factor for predicting failure.
Other than Iron Man Rodon, is there a player in our squad who hasn’t been injured at some stage our other?
