Man Utd star who played 42x last term informed he is not in Amorim’s plans this season

0 1

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has been told that he is not in the plans of head coach Ruben Amorim for the new season and is available to leave this summer, according to Red Devils insider United Scout.

United Scout were the first to exclusively reveal that 15-year-old Kai Rooney and 14-year-old JJ Gabriel will be travelling with the under-19s to Croatia for the Mladen Ramljak tournament.

They have now taken to social media platform X to reveal that Casemiro has been informed that he can leave the Theatre of Dreams.

The 33-year-old Brazil international made 42 appearances across all competitions for the Old Trafford club last term but they are ready to sell him to fund a move for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba.

Casemiro was omitted when Amorim named a six-man leadership team, with captain Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, Noussair Mazraoui, Lisandro Martinez, Diogo Dalot and Tom Heaton the ones in charge of dressing room affairs.

The former Real Madrid star was part of an eight-member leadership group under former Man United manager Erik ten Hag alongside Maguire, Fernandes, David de Gea, Marcus Rashford, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw and Heaton.

However, the club are preparing for life without him as they eye the 21-year-old Seagulls star.

Casemiro has no intention of leaving Man United and would love to see out the remaining 12 months on his contract.

Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr would be ready to make a push if he intends to move on, but that is not the case at the moment.

Casemiro was a regular during pre-season, featuring against Leeds United, West Ham United, Bournemouth, Everton and Fiorentina, but Man United see Baleba as a long-term replacement and upgrade.

The midfielder is currently the highest-paid player at Man United, and while Al Nassr will comfortably double his £350,000-per-week wages, remaining at the club boosts his chances of going to the World Cup next year.
