Jordan excited to get started

0 22

BAY’S new signing Jordan Davies is looking forward to working with manager Mike Wilde and assistant Danny Harrison once again.

“I’ve obviously played with both of them,” said Jordan, who played alongside Mike and Danny at Connah’s Quay Nomads.

“I only had a short season with Danny.  I know what he’s like, he’s a great character to have and he’s a great assistant manager.

“Wildey speaks for himself.  He’s scored so many goals and opefully he can help me along the way.

“We had a few conversations along the way, me and Wildey.

“Like I said, it’s just a project I want to be involved in and I’m excited to get started.”

Jordan arrives at the Bay with plenty of Cymru Premier experience from spells at Nomads and Haverfordwest County.

And with changes ahead for the Cymru Premier next season, it’s an exciting time .

“You obviously want to be in that, expanding to 16 teams next year,” Jordan added.

“But it’s an exciting time off the pitch for Covent Bay and on the pitch hopefully we can replicate that.”

Bay begin the JD Cymru Premier season at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads on Sunday, 10 August – Kick-Off 5pm.
