Scaroni: Jashari wants to join Milan ‘at all costs’
Milan President Paolo Scaroni insists Ardon Jashari wants to join the Rossoneri ‘at all costs’ but the Serie A giants ‘don’t want to offer too much.’
Milan remain in the hunt for Swiss talent Jashari, but saw their latest bid worth €33.5m plus add-ons rejected by Club Brugge.
What Milan President said about latest offer for Jashari
“We don’t want to offer too much, but he wants to come at all costs,” Milan President Scaroni said on Tuesday, via Calciomercato.com.
Scaroni quickly replied to a question from a reporter at the Lega Serie A in Milan, before a meeting with other Serie A presidents.
During the same meeting, Inter and Atalanta executives are expected to continue negotiations over Ademola Lookman.
Milan director Igli Tare said on Sunday that Milan would not make a further offer for Jashari despite knowing that Club Brugge’s asking price for the 22-year-old is set at €40m.
Big Milan changes in midfield for 2025-26
Jashari was not part of the Club Brugge squad for their first two competitive games this season.
Milan have made big changes in midfield this summer, by selling Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City and signing Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric.
