Milan plot first bid for Juventus outcast Vlahovic – the details

Milan are preparing to launch a first bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, reports from Italy claim, as the Rossoneri look to sign the former Fiorentina man for a discounted price this summer.

With Jonathan David’s arrival in Turin on a free transfer from Lille this summer, Vlahovic’s place at the Old Lady is under serious threat and he has been rumoured away from the club as a result of this.

What is going on with Vlahovic at Juventus?

After signing for Juventus from Fiorentina for €70 million, with an additional €10 million in performance bonuses, the Serbian has struggled to make a real impact for the Bianconeri. Despite scoring 43 goals in 104 league games for the Old Lady, the 25-year-old has failed to meet the lofty expectations set for him and therefore could now leave the club this summer.

Milan have been amongst the clubs interested in the Serbian and at this point, look to be the most concrete option for the Partizan youth graduate.

La Repubblica suggest that Milan may also delay their offer, in hopes they can get the player at an even more discounted price later in the transfer window. Juventus, however, would like to avoid this at all costs and Bianconeri general manager Damien Comolli has scheduled a meeting with Vlahovic’s agent, Darko Ristic, to find a solution that pleases everyone.
