Report Estupinan ready for Milan in Brighton deal just under 20m
Multiple reports are suggesting Milan have agreed a deal in principle with Brighton and Hove Albion for Pervis Estupinan, with the cost believed to be under €20m.
Alex Crook of talkSport, transfer pundit Matteo Moretto, Calciomercato.com and more are all reporting this evening that the player has given the all clear and the clubs are down to the details too.
It is believed the total cost of the move should be just under €20m.
The previous offer worth €15m had been rejected, but the negotiations continued and intensified in particular over the last few hours.
The Rossoneri had been hoping to reach an agreement for circa €18m, but it seems they pushed the boat out a little more including add-ons to get the deal done.
Estupinan all set for AC Milan transfer
The 27-year-old Ecuador international will be their new left-back, taking over after Theo Hernandez was sold to Al-Hilal.
Agent Jorge Mendes was working on the talks to get it smoothed over, aware that Estupinan was only under contract with Brighton until June 2027.
He was purchased from Villarreal in the summer of 2022 for €17.8m.
There was some Serie A experience of sorts, as he was on the books of Udinese from 2016 to 2017, but never played for them, immediately loaned to Granada first and then Watford.
