Mate, you think I’m gonna waste a perfectly good afternoon watching women chase a ball around like it’s Sunday netball at the village fair? Not a chance. Football’s meant to be played with crunching tackles, proper pace, and a bit of aggro... not by someone who’s worried about chipping a nail.
It’s not real football if the players are tying their hair back before a corner kick, is it? I didn’t grow up watching the likes of Keane and Shearer just to end up with a telly full of ponytails and goal celebrations that look like group yoga love in.
I mean, come on, equal pay? For what? Half the speed, half the strength, and not even a proper dive between them! You can’t even shout “man on!” without someone reporting you to HR. It’s not the beautiful game anymore... it’s the mildly entertaining hobby.
I'd rather watch paint dry on a damp Tuesday than sit through 90 minutes of that. Give me a proper match with studs flying, crowd roaring, and lads who look like they’ve seen a pub brawl or two, not a halftime chat about feelings and empowerment... and crying over a VAR decision.
