Tottenham Agree £55m Deal to Sign Kudus from West Ham
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with West Ham United to sign forward Mohammed Kudus in a deal worth £55 million. The North London club had an initial £50 million bid rejected but have now matched West Ham’s valuation of the 24-year-old.
Kudus, who joined the Premier League from Ajax in the summer of 2023, has impressed with 13 goals and 12 assists in 65 appearances. Known for his versatility across the front line, he fits Tottenham’s search for a dynamic attacking option.
Despite strong interest from Chelsea and Newcastle earlier in the transfer window, Kudus has made it clear that his preferred destination is Spurs. He is set to begin his medical on Thursday before signing a six-year contract with the club.
Tottenham’s capture of Kudus marks a significant addition to their attacking ranks as they continue to rebuild and strengthen under new manager Thomas Frank. With Kudus’s proven Premier League experience and attacking versatility, the deal could prove to be a major boost to Spurs’ ambitions in the upcoming season.
