West Ham are ‘frustrated’ with Tottenham’s latest Mohammed Kudus tactic

0 9

West Ham United have been left frustrated by Tottenham’s unwillingness to meet their valuation for Mohammed Kudus amidst the North London club’s latest offer, which contains add-ons deemed ‘unrealistic’ by the East London side.

Over recent days, it has been widely reported that Chelsea could hijack Tottenham’s move for Kudus, which has left some Spurs fans extremely nervous.

However, according to various sources, including Fabrizio Romano, Kudus favours a move to Tottenham, who remain at the front of the queue to land the winger.

On Sunday, it emerged that Tottenham’s £62.5m offer for Kudus was turned down by West Ham as it included add-ons of £12.5m, which the Hammers considered unrealistic as it was subject to the Lilywhites winning the Premier League and the Champions League.

West Ham frustrated with Tottenham’s offer for Mohammed Kudus

GiveMeSport have now backed up the claim about Tottenham’s latest offer including bonus payments which can only be triggered if Thomas Frank’s men win the biggest trophies in the sport.

They say that this has led to frustration among the London Stadium hierarchy who want Spurs to ‘become more realistic’ with their payment terms.

The two clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee for the Ghanaian and West Ham are particularly frustrated that Tottenham are not taking their valuation of Kudus seriously.

The report adds that the Hammers are now hoping that Chelsea will also come to the table with a cash offer for the 24-year-old.

Spurs are taking a major risk by dragging out Kudus negotiations

It has been widely reported that Chelsea have held talks with West Ham over Kudus and have even had an offer turned down already by the Hammers.

According to various reports, West Ham prefer sell Kudus to Chelsea over Spurs. Additionally, it has also been suggested that Chelsea could use the fee they get from Noni Madueke’s sale to strike a deal for Kudus.

With Madueke seemingly edging closer to a move to Arsenal, the longer Tottenham’s negotiations for Kudus drag on, the more the risk that the Blues will hijack the deal.
