Luka Vuskovic’s brother reveals his ideal Tottenham loan scenario this season

0 4

The brother of Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic has made a very interesting transfer claim about the young centre-back just before he is about to link up with the Spurs squad for the first time.

There has hardly ever been a teenager who Spurs fans have been as excited to see in Tottenham Hotspur colours as Vuskovic.

He was already seen as a generational talent in Croatian football when the Lilywhites signed him as a 16-year-old two years ago, and his stock has risen considerably since in light of his impressive loan spells at Radomiak Radom and KVC Westerlo.

The young defender even made his senior debut for Croatia this summer and Vuskovic has admitted that he is very excited to link up with the Europa League champions.

Luka Vuskovic’s brother hints at perfect Tottenham loan

The Tottenham man’s older brother, Mario, has been at Hamburg SV since 2022, and he will now taste Bundesliga football for the first time after his side secured promotion to the top flight last season.

The Hamburg defender has now revealed that his younger brother would be open to joining the Volksparkstadion on loan but admitted that the decision on his future will ultimately made by Spurs.

When asked if Luka Vuskovic could make a temporary move from Tottenham to Hamburg, Mario told Hamburger Abendblatt: “Luka loves HSV simply because the club and the fans always support me.

“When he witnessed the promotion party at the Volksparkstadion, he was impressed by how big the club is and how incredible the fans are. He would love to play for HSV and wouldn’t say no to an offer. In the end, however, Tottenham will decide what is best for his development.”

What Thomas Frank has decided about Vuskovic

Unsurprisingly, it has emerged that several clubs around Europe have expressed an interest in signing Vuskovic on loan, including Hamburg.

In fact, it was reported by The Mirror two weeks ago that Hamburg and Club Brugge have already contacted Vuskovic’s representatives about a move.

However, the same update claimed that Thomas Frank had asked the Lilywhites to reject loan advances for the 18-year-old for the time being.

This is because the Danish coach wants to run the rule over the centre-back in pre-season, with Tottenham refusing to rule out the possibility of the youngster being part of their first-team players for the upcoming season.
