Career So Far: Hannah Jordan

0 2

With substantial experience at the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League level under her belt at just 20 years of age, Hannah Jordan joins Hibernian Women ahead of the 2025/26 campaign!

Jordan started off her football career at youth level with Rangers, and made her senior debut in a 14-1 thrashing victory over Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Cup third round in January 2022. Appearing off the bench on the hour mark, she netted her first senior goal less than ten minutes later with a smart finish.

Primarily used as a defender at the Glasgow club, Jordan would depart Rangers in June 2022 and sign for Spartans – where she became better known as a dangerous attacking option.

She would score seven goals in 32 appearances during the 2023/24 campaign – helping guide the Ainslie Park side to safety in the SWPL and the 2023/24 Scottish Cup semi-final, while picking up both the club’s Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards.

Despite Spartans suffering relegation at the end of the 2024/25 season, Jordan improved upon her previous campaign’s efforts. Her 13 goals in 28 SWPL appearances made her the highest-scoring player in the division outside the Top Six clubs.

A dominant showing across November 2024 earned Jordan the SWPL Player of the Month award after the forward netted a hat-trick in 3-0 win over Montrose and scored a vital equaliser versus Queen’s Park in a 1-1 draw.

A standout campaign earned Jordan national recognition when she was nominated for the PFA Scotland SWPL Young Player of the Year award – the only part-time player to be put forward for the prestigious honour.

Jordan was also named Spartans’ 2024/25 Players’ Player of the Year for a second season in a row, as well as the club’s Coaches’ Player of the Year.

She became a centurion for the Pilton outfit on 9 May 2025, making her centenary appearance in a 5-2 league win over Dundee United.

Jordan has accrued over 10 appearances at youth level for Scotland, and was included in the Under-23s squad in November 2023.

On the international scene Jordan has accrued over 10 appearances at youth level for Scotland, and most recently featured against Portugal for Scotland Under-23s in April 2025.
