Mo Salah
A man who went from Premier League flop to one of the greatest, Salah has had quite the reversal since he returned to English football. The now 33 year old continues to maintain high standards with 34 goals and 23 assists last season. Overall he is one of the most prolific wingers of all time with over 300 goals and 160 assists. He is 3rd in the Liverpool top scorer list with a better goals to minutes ratio than any player in the top 20 (think about the class in that top 20) very impressive for a winger. He has had a lot of success, occasionally as Captain, 2 Premier League titles, a Champions League, couple of runner ups, an FA Cup and for his country 2 African Cup of Nations runners up medals. Individually he is a multiple time African and Premier League player of the year, a CAF African Men's Player of the Decade., PFA Player player of the year and multiple time Ballon d'Or nominee. He is known for his pace, leadership, dribbling skills, work rate and finishing, in recent years his final pass has improved to see him one of the best goal creators in football. Salah is now for many the best right winger in Premier league history by a distance

Lionel Messi
The most decorated footballer of all time in terms of trophies won, individual awards and official World records, Lionel Messi is football royalty. A man who was officially the best player in the world a record 8 times and undoubtedly one of the best in the world for an incredible 20 years his longevity is unmatched. The diminutive Argentina Captain was part of the legendary Barcelona sides of the 2000s, winning 10 league titles and 4 Champions League medals, he also saw title wins in France and MLS and has won a record 45 trophies in his career.
At International level he holds all the records for his country in terms of goals and assists and is a 2 time Copa America and World Cup winning Captain. Individually he is an 8 time Ballon d'Or winner, the only player ever named Best player at 2 World Cups by FIFA and the last winner of the original FIFA World Player of the Year award. He is known for his balance, dribbling, goalscoring and goal creating skills and is officially recognised as the player with the most goal contributions in football history.

Stanley Matthews
Before Messi, Salah, Best, Maradona, Garrincha, Cruyff Sir Stanl was the original wizard of the dribble. Sir Stanley Matthews is one of the most pioneering footballers of all time. He was a footballer who exercised and ate well and didn't drink or smoke and took care of his body properly 30 years before it became the norm. It was this foresight, dedication and professionalism that allowed Matthews to play his first and last match over 30 years apart (the last days after his 50th birthday). For context Matthews could have made his debut in 1970 vs Pele, played against Maradona in 86, played against Zinedine Zidane in 98, and played against Cristiano Ronaldo in 2003, his longevity put into context is exceptional.
He spent most of his career at Stoke and Blackpool, he is a 2nd division winner, League Cup winner, FA Cup winner and at International level a 9 time Home Championship winner. He played between 700 and 800 games in his career with well over 100 goals and assists. He was known for his dribbling skills, control, two footed play and vision. An unselfish player he was credited with exceptional work rate and team ethic and the ultimate sportsman who was never sent off nor booked during his career (despite being kicked to bits in the tough times of the 40s, 50s and 60s). Franz Beckenbauer said "nobody could stop Sir Stanley and Johnny Giles said he had everything. Stanley Matthews is the first winner ever of the Ballon d'Or, the European Player of the Year and the FWA Player of the Year.

Garrincha
Such is his legacy in Brazil the home dressing room of the iconic Maracanã Stadium stadium is named after him. He famously had one leg shorter than the other but that didn't stop him becoming one of the greatest dribblers football has ever seen. Garrincha is in some corners of Brazil considered the greatest player in their history. He is considered the original Samba Style player for his joy, entertainment and flair and is remembered as one of the original entertainers. At club level he played mainly for Botafogo winning 18 trophies and scoring over 80 goals. He famously played a key role in the 1958 World Cup and is credited with carrying Brazil in the 1962 World Cup where Pele only played 2 games through injury whereas Garrincha scored 4 goals, was named Best player at the tournament, won the golden Boot and became the first player ever to do that and win the World Cup in the same tournament. Additonally he is a Brazilian Player of the Year, World Cup Team of the Tournament member, a Team of the 20th century member and a member of the Brazilian Hall of Fame. As a player Garrincha was known for his dribbling skills, balance, close control and Pace. He is regarded as one of the most exciting players football has ever seen and one of the original entertainers.
