MLB Superstar Gave Live Reaction To ‘Wild’ Rafael Devers Trade

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has done nearly everything there is to do in professional baseball… but he’s not so different from the rest of us.

Can you blame him, though?

Kershaw was left stunned after hearing that the Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.

“How about that trade!? Wild,” Kershaw said during his in-game interview on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. “(San Francisco Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey) is really doing it, huh? I consider (Devers) to be one of the best hitters in the game. It’ll be interesting to see what position he plays over there.”

Devers will now join an intriguing race in the National League West, where the Giants, Dodgers and San Diego Padres are all within a few games of each other. The Red Sox, on the other hand, will now look to find a new face to their franchise.

Wild, indeed.
