Man Utd now ready to pay €52m to sign 25y/o No. 9 who scored 25 goals this term
Manchester United are seriously considering the possibility of paying the €52 million release clause of the striker of Fiorentina striker Moise Kean this summer, according to Calcio Mercato journalist Eleonora Trotta.
The Red Devils have watched the 25-year-old Italy international all season, and his return of 25 goals in 44 appearances in 2024-25 has impressed them.
Man United want a new striker after Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee failed to deliver the goods, and Kean has emerged as a serious target.
A return to the Premier League could appeal to the former Everton striker after he failed to impress in his first stint in the English top-flight, and he will fancy his chances of proving himself in England at a club like Man United.
Kean has proven himself in the Serie A and Ligue 1 after notching 17 times in 41 appearances while on loan at Paris Saint-Germain back in 2020-21, and he has grown and matured into a top number 9 since he left the Toffees in 2021.
Man United want to strengthen their attack this summer as their head coach Ruben Amorim prepares for his first full season in charge, and they have already signed Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
