Tottenham Hotspur dismiss experienced coach to kickstart summer of change
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly parted ways with an experienced academy coach, who was said to be very highly regarded at Hotspur Way.
According to various reports, there are expected to be wholesale changes at Tottenham this summer, with directors, coaches and various departments under the scanner after a poor domestic season.
The most anticipated decision is regarding the future of the first-team coaching staff, with Ange Postecoglou expected to be sacked.
His assistant, Ryan Mason could also resign after being offered the role of West Brom head coach, according to various sources, but the first coach to exit Hotspur Way this summer is a highly-regarded and experienced academy coach.
Tottenham Hotspur dismiss academy coach Paul Bracewell
It has been reported by Football Insider that Spurs have dismissed senior academy coach Paul Bracewell with immediate effect.
Bracewell is said to have developed an excellent reputation as a high-class developmental coach over his many years of service at Tottenham Hotspur, having helped nurture many a young talent that has come through the academy.
He has now departed the North London club and it is suggested that he could soon find himself in a new job, with offers already on the table.
According to some sources inside Tottenham, Bracewell has been let go “due to his role being made redundant”.
Another senior Spurs official is expected to depart
It has been widely reported over recent weeks that Fabio Paratici is expected to return to Spurs in a formal role this summer and he will be joined by Vinai Venkatesham, who has been appointed as the club’s new CEO.
However, the pair’s arrival is not good news for one senior Tottenham man, who has been the number two to Daniel Levy for the past two years.
According to some outlets, Tottenham’s chief football officer, Scott Munn, could depart his role this summer as the Lilywhites make changes from top to bottom.
