Queen’s Park duo land call-ups to international camp

0 5

QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to congratulate Milosz Sliwinski and Aiden McGinlay on their call-ups for Scotland’s under-19s training camp.

Fresh from his Spiders debut in the 2024-25 finale against Raith Rovers at Hampden, Milosz has been included in Neil Macfarlane’s squad, which meets up in Dundee this week.

He’ll be joined by Aiden who progressed from the Spiders ranks into the first-team during the final two months of the season.

The call ends a season where both have picked up valuable top team experience – not just with Queen’s Park.

McGinlay made his Spiders debut at Pittodrie as a late substitute in the 4-1 Scottish Cup defeat to Aberdeen.

Under Steven MacLean and Sean Crighton he was then promoted to the top-team, earning five starts as we retained our Championship status for season 2025-26.

Seventeen-year-old Sliwinski also made his full club debut on the final day of the campaign as he started against Raith Rovers. However it wasn’t Milosz’ first taste of senior football.

He moved on loan at Clyde in the first half of the season, playing Glasgow Cup ties for the Bully Wee while making further Queen’s Park youth and B team team appearances.

Earlier this year he made his senior debut with Dumbarton, and played nine times for the Sons until a recall last month as cover for Callum Ferrie – a move which led to his debut at Hampden.

As well as ending with deserved international recognition, this season has also seen the pair help the Queen’s Park B team win a second consecutive SPFL Reserve League title.

Well done Milosz, and congratulations Aiden!
