Manchester United have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of their Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday as Diogo Dalot, Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro all trained with the first-team this morning.
However, Matthijs de Ligt was not part of the Red Devils team and is now likely to miss out on the matchday squad tomorrow.
Man United are desperate to end 2024-25 well and winning tomorrow will be a great way to do that after a woeful domestic campaign.
They will fancy their chances against Spurs given their own domestic struggles too, and the return of the aforementioned trio will give head coach Ruben Amorim and others much-needed confidence.
Yoro was withdrawn against West Ham United last weekend and there were initial fears the French centre-back would be unavailable against Spurs, but he could be starting tomorrow in Bilbao from the look of things.
Dalot has been out of action since April when he picked up a knock against Wolverhampton Wanderers and was withdrawn from action, but he looks fit and ready to help Man United against their Premier League rivals in the important game tomorrow.
Zirkzee has missed the last eight games for the Red Devils after sustaining an injury against Newcastle United last month, leaving the team short of options in attack.
His return is timely and the Dutchman could end his debut campaign at Man United as a hero should he help lead them to victory against the North London club.
De Ligt was withdrawn against Brentford earlier this month and appears to have played for the last time this term after missing the training session today.
A win tomorrow will see them qualify for the league phase of the Champions League next season, and they cannot afford to perform below par given the plenty of things at stake.
