Ex-Red Sox Infielder Finds Next Opportunity With NL Central Club
Bobby Dalbec took a short stint with the Chicago White Sox after his departure from the Boston Red Sox organization.
Dalbec now has another chance to catch on with a major-league organization after he signed a minor-league deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Curt Hogg. Dalbec earned an assignment to Triple-A Nashville upon his signing.
Dalbec hit .222 in seven games for the White Sox and played parts of five seasons with the Red Sox. His best season came back in 2021 where he caught fire in the second half and slugged 25 home runs thanks to a highly-productive second half. He hit .222 with 47 home runs in five seasons with the Red Sox.
Dalbec hopes to become a depth option for a Brewers team with aspirations to chase in the National League Central.
