Report That Bill Belichick's 'Problem' Girlfriend, 24, Banned From UNC Football Facilities Debunked

Update: UNC shared a statement with ESPN, debunking the original report that Jordon Hudson has been banned from the school's football facilities.

"While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities," the school said in the statement to ESPN. "Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University."

Bill Belichick won't have his girlfriend Jordon Hudson by his side during football practice, according to ESPN's Pablo Torre. On the May 9 episode of his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, Torre said that 11 sources confirmed the news to him.

"Two sources at the University of North Carolina tell me that there has been a decision was made last week by the higher-ups inside the athletic department that had hired Bill Belichick to be the highest paid public employee, not just coach, in the state of North Carolina at $10 million a year. And that decision was that Jordon Hudson is no longer allowed in the football building," Torre said on his podcast.

"She is not allowed on the football field. Quote 'don't think you'll be hearing much from Jordon moving forward,'" he added.

Hudson appeared to respond to the podcast, re-sharing a post on X with someone else's take. 

"We live in a culture much too rife with lazy conspiratorial thinking so I try to be very careful when speculating about where real nefariousness exists but this one feels like someone is trying to put the screws (no pun intended) to Belichick and Hudson is part of a bigger plot," read the message.

If Hudson was truly banned, the move comes just weeks after she made headlines for interrupting his interview with CBS Sunday Morning and telling the reporter that he wasn't going to talk about certain things during their sit-down.

On May 6, former NFL player Robert Griffin III spoke out about Belichick's relationship.

"Bill Belichick is the Greatest Head Coach in NFL History, but his girlfriend Jordon Hudson is becoming a problem. Bill can date whoever he wants, but his relationship has become the one thing he always hated as a coach, a DISTRACTION for his UNC Football team," he wrote on X.

Hudson seemed to react to that statement as well, re-sharing a message on X that read, "Is it a distraction for him or for us?"

Men's Journal has attempted to reach out to Belichick for comment.
