It was defeat on the final day for AFC Fylde who fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to National League Champions Barnet on Monday.
Two goals in the first 45 minutes followed by a third in the second half left Fylde with little to shout about on the final matchday at Mill Farm.
Nick Haughton attempted to pressure the visitors backline early on with a smart cross from a quickly taken free kick, however it was intercepted in the air by Barnet’s Ryan Glover.
Ben Winterbottoms first call of action was from a well-struck ball from outside the box from Rhys Browne who forced the Brentford loanee into a second save moments later.
The visitors then broke the deadlock with a near post header from a corner with Ade Oluwo beating Winterbottom.
Barnet were then awarded a spot kick shortly before the interval which Mark Shelton converted to double the Bees’ advantage.
Will Hugill worked the ball to the outside of the box before cutting the ball inside to Nick Haughton, who had his first attempt on goal saved by Barnet’s Gio Bellagambi.
Second half was underway, and Haughton created the first bit of action with a shot from distance which was parried away by Barnet’s Bellagambi.
Barnet added a third to their tally just before the hour mark after Dan Sassi misplaced the ball in the backline, and it was taken by Lee Ndlovu who rounded Winterbottom to roll it into an empty net.
Fylde looked for a consolation as Will Hugill went close with an effort from the edge of the area but it ended in defeat for Longwell’s side.
