Patriots Rookie Will Campbell Reveals Wild Game Day Superstition

As the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Will Campbell now can treat himself to pretty much anything he wants.

New pairs of underwear to rock on Patriots game days won’t be one of those purchases, though.

As he traveled to Foxboro, Mass., for his introductory press conference, Campbell took part in a Q&A with the Patriots’ social media team. The LSU product was asked if he had any game-day superstitions, and he revealed one he’s been sticking with since he was a teenager.

“Every Friday — or now it will be Saturday — I eat the same thing for dinner, breakfast, lunch and pregame meal every day,” Campbell said. “I wear the same underwear under my pants since my sophomore year of high school. They’re barely hanging on, but I’ll be able to make them work.”

Time will tell if the lucky underwear helps Campbell excel at left tackle in the NFL. But for what it’s worth, one of the best to ever play the position believes the 21-year-old will thrive as Drake Maye’s blindside protector.
