Interesting Theory Behind Bill Belichick’s Weird Interview
Bill Belichick never needed any help handling the media during his 24 seasons as head coach of the New England Patriots.
But his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, seems to think otherwise.
Hudson became the main story of Belichick’s recent interview with “CBS Mornings,” which was intended to promote the legendary coach’s new book “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football.” Instead, Hudson shutting down a question during the interview and reportedly being an overall nuisance overtook all the headlines, leading to major questions about Hudson’s involvement in aspects of Belichick’s life.
During Tuesday’s episode of NESN’s “Boston Has Entered The Chat,” Kasey Hudson addressed the situation and proposed a theory as to why Belichick has allowed Jordon Hudson to act like his publicist.
“Let’s take a guess-estimate that in this new era of his life, he’s trying to be more vocal and he’s trusting the young gal to help him do that. So maybe that’s where he’s going along with everything,” Kasey Hudson said. “But in the same sense, it’s terrifying because regardless of what her intention is, if I’m UNC, by any means, I care about the image of our head coach of our football program. Football is king, is it not? Why by any means should she be the middle man between Belichick and the company and his employer, that’s going to go as hard as possible to protect him in any aspect. And you’re talking about somebody who’s beyond a well-seasoned vet in these circumstances.”
Things got stranger for Belichick and Jordon Hudson on Tuesday when Hudson posted a lengthy Instagram post of a Belichick email criticizing the coverage of his new book. Kasey Hudson and co-host George Balekji had doubts that Belichick even wrote the email.
Regardless, Jordon Hudson being so involved in Belichick’s life appears to be hurting his brand at the moment.
