Twenty-Two Random (But Informative) Facts About Patriots’ 2025 Draft Class
The Patriots added fresh faces through the 2025 NFL Draft.
New England made 11 total selections before logging 19 reported signings/invitations in the undrafted free agent market Saturday.
It’s always difficult to retain information on an entire class, so instead of bombarding you with details about their potential roles or chances of making the roster, we decided to just hit you with some random facts. Enjoy!
OT Will Campbell (LSU)
1. Campbell made quite the revelation after he was drafted, admitting that he was dating the sister of LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
“That’s my quarterback,” Campbell said of Nussmeier. “My girlfriend’s brother.”
2. LSU awarded him the No. 7, which is given to the best in-state playmaker the coaching staff feels elevates those around him. Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Leonard Fournette and Derek Stingley all previously earned the honor, with Campbell becoming the first offensive lineman to join them by way of a special patch.
3. Campbell (born Jan. 6, 2004) is the new youngest player on the active roster, supplanting his new top priority, Drake Maye (born Aug. 30, 2002).
RB TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State)
4. Henderson only started for one season in high school, as his senior campaign was cancelled due to COVID-19. How’d it go? He scored 45 touchdowns and was named Gatorade Player of the Year in Virginia.
WR Kyle Williams (Washington State)
5. Williams became the first Washington State player selected by New England since Drew Bledsoe in 1993.
6. Before college, he went to St. Monica Catholic Preparatory, which is the same high school attended by former Patriots offensive lineman and assistant coach Adrian Klemm.
IOL Jared Wilson (Georgia)

DL Joshua Farmer (Florida State)
9. Farmer’s first collegiate offer came from Patriots defensive line coach Clinton McMillan, who was a senior analyst at Florida State from 2020 to 2022.
10. Milton Williams sat down with Farmer during his pre-draft visit to One Patriot Place.
“Milton sat down for 30 minutes and talked,” Farmer said following the draft. “… It’s just crazy how God works. I don’t know what to say. He sat down and talked with me for at least 30 minutes. It was just me and him. He was a later-round guy, kind of like me in the third round and fourth round. He just sat down and talked to me. No other visit I went on was like that. He’s just a great guy. Awesome. Fantastic.”
11. Farmer, who is the youngest of eight children, lost both of his parents when he was a kid. Greg, his father, died from complications following stomach surgery when he was two years old. Pauline, his mother, passed away from a brain aneurysm when he was 11.
EDGE Bradyn Swinson (LSU)
12. Swinson carries a football with him no matter where he goes, gaining inspiration from the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
“I got it from Jayden Daniels, because Jayden Daniels used to carry his dream everywhere. You always want to carry your dream everywhere,” Swinson said shortly after being selected. “I started doing it my last year at LSU, carrying it around with me everywhere. When I go to the grocery store and I go to the mall, go anywhere, I have a ball with me.”
13. Swinson played with Christian Gonzalez at Oregon in 2022.
K Andres Borregales (Miami)
14. Borregales would be the third Venezuelan-born player to play in the NFL, joining fellow kickers Pat Ragusa and Alan Pringle.
