Football Star Ashton Jeanty Debuts Crocs x Swarovski Collaboration at 2025 NFL Draft Red Carpet
Two Crocs styles are getting a glamorous makeover with the help of Swarovski crystals — and a custom version of one of these styles was worn by Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty on the NFL Draft red carpet on Thursday ahead of the collaboration’s May 6 release.
The collection includes reinventions of the Classic Clog, the brand’s most famous silhouette, and the Bae Clog, a bold platform style. Against a pearlescent ivory colorway, the Classic Clog showcases a design of iridescent dragonfly wings embellished with Swarovski crystals. This is the shoe Jeanty donned for the NFL Draft, though he showcased a bespoke black iteration of the style. The college football star is slated to be the number five pick in the draft, which would see him recruited to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jeanty paired the dragonfly-inspired clogs — which he fittingly wore in sport mode, showing off the shoe’s bejeweled back strap — with a unique suit look. The suit features a double-breasted blazer and creased tapered trousers in a muted burgundy shade which featured a subtle embroidered pattern. Black velvet accented the jacket at the quilted shawl lapel and cuffs while a bow tie helped to emphasize his formality. He repped the Haitian and American flags on his suit cuffs while also displaying a script “A” pin on his lapel.
In addition to the style Jeanty wore, the collection includes a black Bae clog wrapped in gossamer webbing and scattered with Swarovski crystals. Lastly, the collaboration brings forth one limited-edition Jibbitz charm that draws inspiration from the Queen of the Night flower, which blossoms just one night a year.
Matias Infante, vice president of global marketing at Crocs, said in a statement, “This global collection represents a bold evolution for Crocs – where iconic comfort meets exquisite craftsmanship. By embellishing our Classic and Bae Clogs with Swarovski crystals, we’re elevating our most recognizable silhouettes and solidifying our place in the fashion conversation.”‘
Bejeweled shoes are not unfamiliar territory for Crocs, a brand known for its wide-ranging collaborations. Earlier this month, the third drop in the partnership between Crocs and luxury label Simone Rocha was revealed, featuring silhouettes with crystal and pearl embellishments.
