The season so far
The Spiders currently sit seventh in the table with five matches remaining. Steven MacLean’s side go into this one looking to end a run of five consecutive league defeats. The last victory coming against Raith Rovers at Starks Park at the beginning of March.
Livingston sit third in league, level on points with second placed Ayr United but eight points off league leaders Falkirk, having lost 1-0 away to Dunfermline midweek. With five games to go and 15 points to play for David Martindale’s side won’t have given up on automatic promotion just yet however that midweek defeat at East End Park has dented those ambitions.
