0 6
Manchester City is currently competing on multiple fronts, including the Premier League, the Champions League, and the FA Cup. Haaland's injury could jeopardize their chances of success in these competitions.

Erling Haaland was forced to leave the field with an injury in the 17th minute of the second half during Manchester City‘s FA Cup quarterfinal match. The Norwegian star’s injury has put Pep Guardiola and the club on edge, adding to their growing list of injured players. The severity of the injury is currently unknown.

Haaland had earlier scored Manchester City‘s equalizing goal in the second half, just three minutes after the restart, against Bournemouth. The opposing team had taken the lead with a goal from Francisco de Lima Barbosa.

The Norway striker hurt the ankle after Bournemouth right back Lewis Cook landed awkwardly on him in a 56th-minute tackle. Haaland received treatment, came back on, but soon fell to the ground in pain and had to be substituted.

At the start of the match, Haaland also had a chance to score from the penalty spot but it was saved by Bournemouth goalkeeper Kepa.

The number 9 was replaced by Omar Marmoush, who scored the goal that gave the Citizens a temporary lead. Haaland’s condition is currently unknown, but he will undoubtedly undergo tests after the match to determine the extent of the injury.

Haaland’s injury could have a significant impact on Manchester City’s season. The Norwegian striker has been in sensational form this season, scoring goals at an incredible rate. His absence would be a major blow to the team’s attacking prowess.
