Tottenham have big advantage over Arsenal in race for Championship forward
Tottenham Hotspur are now trying to sign the younger brother of one of their midfielders, and the Lilywhites may be well placed to beat two of their rivals to the player’s signature.
There were many eyebrows raised when Tottenham spent £40m to sign Archie Gray last summer, given that the defender was coming to the North London club on the back of just one successful season at the Championship level.
However, the 19-year-old has showcased exactly why the Tottenham hierarchy paid such a steep fee, demonstrating his huge potential in a Spurs shirt this season despite being asked to play out of position at centre-back.
Now, Tottenham are reportedly set to turn their attention to Archie Gray’s younger brother, who is also rated very highly at Leeds.

Archie’s younger brother, 16-year-old Harry Gray, is a striker and has shown an eye for goal across various age groups in youth football.
Harry has represented England at Under-17 level and has impressed for Leeds at Under-21 level but is yet to make his senior bow for Daniel Farke’s side.
TBR Football claim that the young forward’s displays in youth football have impressed Tottenham, who are now determined to unite him with his older brother at Hotspur Way in the summer.
However, the Lilywhites are not the only club in the Premier League who wish to sign the Leeds academy graduate, with Arsenal and Newcastle also holding a keen interest in the teenager.
Can Spurs win the race for Archie Gray’s little brother?
TBR Football go on to explain that Tottenham have a big advantage over both Arsenal and Newcastle in the race for Harry Gray.
Not only does the 16-year-old want to play with his old brother, but it is suggested that Tottenham Hotspur could use Archie to help convince his younger brother to make a move to N17.
However, the outlet adds that Leeds are confident of keeping hold of the striker even though they are unable to offer him a long-term contract until he turns 17 in October.
