Manchester City Dropping Points and an Arsenal Win For Me Toady Against Chelsea Would be Great
Just a quick one. Yesterday’s draw between Manchester City and Brighton feels like a small victory. City dropping points at home keeps the top of the table within reach, and with Brighton holding firm, it’s a result that stops both City from pulling away, and Brighton getting too big for their boots. We’ve been grinding out results this season, and every slip-up from teams competing to get higher up the league gives us a chance to close the gap.
Looking ahead to today, I reckon an Arsenal win over Chelsea would be a good result for us. Chelsea’s been a thorn in our side, sitting pretty in the table, and an Arsenal victory would not only slow their momentum down, but stop them from gaining in confidence a potential win might give them in their fight for a Champions League spot. With Villa pushing to climb higher, Arsenal taking three points today could open the door for us to eventually leapfrog Chelsea—or at least keep the pressure on. So it’s a Gunners winner for me today. UTV
