THE LOWDOWN

Our attention returns to league duty this weekend as we face Kilmarnock in the William Hill Premiership; kick-off at 3pm on Saturday 15 March.

David Gray’s side come into this one off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Cup last weekend – however – our league form remains impressive.

We’re currently enjoying a 13-match unbeaten run in the league – equalling the Club’s longest top-flight unbeaten run in a single season since 1949/50. Read more about the record-breaking run here!

That run of form has lifted us up to third in the table with 43 points from 29 games!

Our nearest challengers are Aberdeen (42 points) and Dundee United (41 points) with four games remaining before the split.

TEAM NEWS

Nicky Cadden will miss this one due to injury. The winger was forced off with a hamstring injury against Celtic and further scans revealed he will be out for several weeks.

Joe Newell is another player who will miss this one due to injury.

David Gray will provide a full team news update when he speaks to the media on Friday afternoon.

THE HOSTS

Kilmarnock currently sit 10th in the league table six points adrift of the top half of the table.

Derek McInnes’ side come into this one off the back of three straight defeats, losing to Ross County (1-0), Rangers (2-4) and Aberdeen (1-0).

This will be the third meeting between the teams this season, the last of which was in December 2024 when Nectar Triantis’ goal was the difference between the sides.

Our last three visits to Rugby Park have ended in score draws – a 1-1 draw in September earlier this season, with back-to-back 2-2 draws in 2023/24.
