Hojlund dropped, 3 big changes | Expected Man Utd line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Ipswich with Garnacho decision

0 6

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways against Ipswich Town in the Premier League tonight.

The Red Devils are 15th in the standings with 30 points, and they are only goal difference ahead of West Ham United.

United shared the spoils at Everton from two goals down last weekend but were lucky to avoid conceding a late penalty.

Manager Ruben Amorim will expect a better performance at Old Trafford against Ipswich.

Formation: 3-4-2-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has played every minute in the Premier League since he arrived from Inter Milan. He is poised to keep his place in goal. Back-up goalkeeper Altay Bayindir remains injured.

There could be one change to the backline. Noussair Mazraoui picked up a minor knee injury against the Toffees. The Moroccan may not be risked from the XI unless he is fully fit.

We anticipate Leny Yoro to start in the back three alongside Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt.

Diogo Dalot and Patrick Dorgu are pretty much undisputed starters at right and left wing-back, considering Amad Diallo and Luke Shaw are on the sidelines with injuries.

Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro played together at Goodison Park, but we expect the latter to drop to the bench.

The Red Devils fared better with Bruno Fernandes dropping into a deeper role alongside Ugarte. The duo were both on the scoresheet. Amorim could opt for the same partnership.

Further forward, Alejandro Garnacho will certainly start on the back of a lively performance off the bench. He could feature as the left-sided no.10 with Christian Eriksen on the right.

Rasmus Hojlund had another poor showing on the road. He failed to win any of his eight duels contested and was replaced by Chido Obi in the 70th minute. Joshua Zirkzee should lead the line tonight.
