Red Sox Pitcher Motivated For Important 2025 Role
Quinn Priester may not be the first name that comes to mind for the Boston Red Sox pitching staff in 2025, but his role remains valuable.
The pitching prospect came to Boston in a swap with the Pittsburgh Pirates for Nick Yorke. He pitched the final game of the regular season in 2024 for a Red Sox win to spark optimism for the 2025 season.
Priester spoke on NESN’s “310 To Left” podcast about his physical improvements this offseason to make an impact out of spring training.
“Yeah, ultimately it’s great to see the results in Trackman or whatever data-analyzing tool we use,” Priester told NESN’s Tom Caron. “Ultimately, what matters is when the hitter steps in the box. I’m excited to get into games here soon and start to see the results where they matter, which is on the field.”
