Celtics Guard Sparks Celebration For USA Goal Amid 4 Nations Final

The Boston Celtics took care of business Thursday night and hoped Team USA could as well.

The Celtics easily took care of the declining Philadelphia 76ers with a 124-104 win at Wells Fargo Center. Attention turned around the Boston locker room to the game back at TD Garden with USA facing Canada in the championship game of the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off.

Derrick White certainly brought the energy up as he passed by the TV on the wall when USA took the lead off the stick of defenseman Jake Sanderson, who filled in for injured Boston Bruins star Charlie McAvoy.

“USA! USA!” White chanted around reporters during Al Horford’s locker room availability, per CLNS Media’s Noa Dalzell.

The Celtics earned their first win after the All-Star break while USA and Canada headed to overtime in the championship battle.
