Linked-away Man Utd star now reacts to latest transfer news coming out of Old Trafford

0 5

Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has taken to social media platform Instagram to react after Marcus Rashford announced that he has joined Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season.

The Englishman has played his last game for the Red Devils from every indication after falling out of favour with head coach Ruben Amorim, and he will now be playing for his future at the Villa Park club as he looks to seal a permanent move away from Old Trafford.

Rashford wished Man United all the best for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign on Instagram while announcing his Villa deal, and Garnacho reacted thus on the post:

The Argentine has also been linked with an exit from Man United and it remains to be seen whether he will leave the club before the transfer deadline tonight.

Chelsea are still keen on signing Garnacho, but a deal has to happen quickly because the Red Devils might need to bring in a replacement if they allow him to leave.

He has improved on the pitch since Amorim dropped him from the squad that faced Manchester City in December, and he could do enough to convince the Portuguese he deserves to remain with the team beyond the end of the season should a January transfer deadline day exit fall through.

The Man United boss resorted to playing Kobbie Mainoo as a number 9 in the defeat against Crystal Palace on Sunday at Old Trafford, and he could do with the signing of a new striker today as it appears he does not trust Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee to get the job done.

Amorim may be ready to sacrifice one of his players today as long as a new number 9 can be snapped up, and fans will be waiting eagerly to see whether someone else will follow Rashford out before the 11 pm deadline tonight.
