TRAVEL
Easter Road, London Road, Leith Street and the Leith Walk area are expected to be congested with the usual matchday traffic. In addition, with large numbers coming to the city for the Six Nations International at Murrayfield, roads and public transport are likely to see delays. You are advised to give ample travel time for your journey.
It should also be noted that there are temporary roadworks in place on Great Junction Street and Bernard Street, these routes to the stadium will add 20-30 minutes onto your journey time.
The Trams will be operating at 7-minute intervals to Leith. The best stops for the stadium on Leith Walk are McDonald Road and Balfour Street. For more details on the trams and stops between Edinburgh Airport and Newhaven see the following link: Edinburgh Trams.

SEGREGATION
Supporters are advised that the route to the East Stand around the rear of the South Stand will be closed before and after the match. A decision on the opening of the West Stand gates post-match will be made by match security during the game.
Please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
We remind all supporters that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken. The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in Unacceptable Conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!
The use of pyrotechnics is a criminal offence, and action will be taken against those caught in possession on the day and similarly anyone identified through the post-match review of CCTV will face similar action sanctions by the Club.
It’s been shown we do not need this at our matches to create an atmosphere. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective is not welcomed by the Football Department.
Your club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.
Walkways should be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a Ground Regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.
Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, disability, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.
STADIUM LIGHTSHOW
The Easter Road lightshow takes place before selected domestic games and when Hibs score.
In the summer of 2024, Hibernian Football Club made a major investment to enhance our supporters’ experience within the stadium. These improvements included a full upgrade of the stadium floodlights.
The health and safety of our supporters is paramount to Hibernian Football Club and we have consulted industry specialists prior to installing the lights to ensure they conform to all accepted standards.
The lightshows will not contain any light sequences of unusual frequencies that would raise concerns about photosensitivity among the general public.
The shows all adhere to the strict guidelines for lightshows and broadcast media. They have been used in other stadia without adverse effect and have been approved for use in a public setting.
Although we have gone to great lengths to ensure the shows are safe for all to enjoy, we would still advise any supporter who may find such light shows uncomfortable to consider whether it is best for them to avoid being in the main stadium bowl during any show.
In this regard appropriate notice and details will always be given ahead of any lightshows on the club website supporter match day information page and through our social media channels.
