THE LOWDOWN
We come into this game on the back of some excellent form - enjoying an eight-match unbeaten run, including six victories (all comps).
Last weekend David Gray’s side beat Clydebank in the Scottish Cup thanks to a Martin Boyle brace and a strike from Rudi Molotnikov.
In our last three games away from Easter Road we have taken seven points, drawing with St Johnstone and beating both Hearts and Aberdeen. We’ve got the fifth best record on the road this season in the William Hill Premiership.
We currently sit sixth in the league table with 29 points from 23 matches, two points behind fifth-placed Motherwell.
TEAM NEWS
David Gray was able to welcome back Kieron Bowie and Mykola Kuharevich last weekend for our Scottish Cup tie against Clydebank. The pair have also had a full week of training leading into Saturday’s match.
Our Head Coach was without Elie Youan, Joe Newell, Nicky Cadden and Marvin Ekpiteta due to injury. He will provide an update on those four in his press conference on Friday afternoon.
THE HOSTS
Ross County are also one of the in-form teams in the league in recent weeks.
The Staggies have picked up 10 points from the last 15 available, recording impressive wins on the road at Dundee (0-3), Aberdeen (1-2) and Kilmarnock (0-1).
However, their momentum stalled in the Scottish Cup, losing 3-2 to Livingston in the Fourth Round last weekend.
This will be the third time the teams have met this season, the first ended in a goalless stalemate in Dingwall, before a 3-1 victory for the Hibees at Easter Road in December.
