We’re all set for a huge night of FA Youth Cup action under the lights at Mill Farm on Friday night as AFC Fylde take on Leeds United for a place in the fifth round.
It’s the only the second time the Coasters have reached this stage of the competition, having been knocked out by Chelsea last time they reached the fourth round.
But with the a place in the fifth round up for grabs once again, Sean Landin and Nathan Delfouneso’s side will be doing everything possible to go one step further and make club history on Friday evening.
The Coasters reached the fourth round after recording an impressive win over Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road in the third round stage. First half strikes from Stan Holder and Mason McKay proved the difference as Fylde ran out 2-1 winners in the capital.
Leeds United however arrive at Mill Farm off the back of a dramatic win in the third round after overcoming Portsmouth at Fratton Park following a late strike in extra time which allowed the Whites to come away with a 3-2 win.
The Whites do currently sit 13th in a very competitive Premier League North standings for the Under 18’s, but possess a lot of quality which they’ll be keen to showcase under the lights at Mill Farm.
