Hi all,
My Mrs has been absolutely poleaxed with it for the first time this week.She’s in a lot of pain and in absolute agony down her left side from her buttock right down to her ankle.Its rendered her almost immobile tbh.
She’s on the usual painkillers but just wondering how this thing pans out as we are very new to it tbh.Shes got an appointment with the GP on Tuesday.Would be grateful for some feedback.
How long does a sciatica attack last?.
What eventual treatment generally relieves the pain?.
I feel for her as I suffer with this. Get her to get the docs to get her an MRI as that’s what they sent me for. They found I’d slipped a disc (herniated disc they called it). I was on Naproxen and Codeine Phosphate for months until I was booked in for a steroid jab into the disc. Only a temporary fix though but it’s been 12 months now and all is good. This weather the last few days has triggered a bit of pain bur other than that it’s okay.
Hope she gets sorted soon and they do something for the pain for her.
