Loan Move For Mya Christie
Hibernian Women can confirm Mya Christie has joined Spartans on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The versatile 20-year-old signed for Hibs in June 2023 from Aberdeen and has made 43 appearances to date.
Christie has made 15 appearances this season in all competitions for Hibs, scoring once in a 6-0 victory over Dundee United in August.
Mya’s impressive performances for Aberdeen and Hibernian have earned her nine youth caps at international level for Scotland at Under-19 and Under-23 levels.
Now, she will join up with Jack Beesley’s side until the end of the current campaign.
Spartans are currently eighth in the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League table, securing 14 points from 17 games.
Hibernian Women Head Coach Grant Scott commented: “This loan move is a fantastic opportunity for Mya to gain valuable game time and continue her development as a player. With limited minutes recently, this arrangement ensures she can build her confidence and sharpen her skills in a competitive environment.
The coaching staff and I firmly believe in Mya’s potential, and we’re confident this experience will be a positive step for her career. We’ll closely monitor her progress and look forward to seeing her growth during her time with Spartans. We wish her the very best for the remainder of the season.”
