Supporter Info: Aberdeen (A)

With over 800 Hibernian FC fans expected to make the journey to Pittodrie, supporters are asked to note the following information before travelling.

Stadium Address

Aberdeen Football Club
Pittodrie Street
Aberdeen
AB24 5QH

Parking

Supporter coaches should park on the top West side of the Golf Road Car Park, with coaches available to park free of charge.

Away supporter coaches cannot drop off passengers anywhere around the stadium other than within the designated Golf Road Car Park. Should supporters choose to drop-off in Aberdeen Town Centre, the coach should then go direct to the coach parking area.

Please note, there is no away car parking at the stadium and care should be taken to ensure cars are correctly parked away from coned areas.

Ticketing

Match tickets will not be available at Pittodrie and if you do not have a valid ticket for this match, please do not travel to avoid disappointment.

With the game kicking off at 3pm, turnstiles will open at 2pm.

Any pre-purchased tickets that have not been collected from the Hibernian Ticket Office will be taken to Aberdeen and the Hibernian Supporter Liaison Officer will be on hand at the turnstiles to distribute these tickets.

Catering

Stand kiosks accept card and contactless payments only. No cash.

Travel

For up-to-date travel information, please visit: Traveline Scotland and Scottish Road Works. There is a yellow weather warning for high winds, please take this into account before you set off for Aberdeen.

Consumption of alcohol in public places

A reminder that Aberdeen City Council bye laws prohibit the consumption of alcohol in public places.

Personal searches

You can expect physical searches before entry. Please co-operate with stewards and police who will be on hand to direct supporters on entry to the stadium.

Segregation

The segregation fence at Pittodrie is no longer and has been replaced by a large tarpaulin, which will be stewarded and policed.

Notice is given that the policy is that anyone setting foot on tarpaulin will be ejected from the stadium.

Unacceptable conduct

We remind all supporters that unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing in bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.

The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away, sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or, as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!

The use of pyrotechnics is a criminal offence, and action will be taken against those caught in possession on the day and similarly anyone identified through the post-match review of CCTV will face similar action sanctions by the Club.

Your club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.

Walkways should be kept clear, and if seated in the stand you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a ground regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed or sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.

Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
