The Tottenham fans who made the trip to Southampton on Sunday made their feelings clear about Daniel Levy, continuing to chant about the Spurs chairman throughout the game as well as after the final whistle.
Daniel Levy is not a popular figure among Spurs fans
A lot of Spurs fans hold Levy to be more responsible than Ange Postecoglou for the club’s struggles this season, with many feeling that the Tottenham supremo has failed to back the Australian.
Levy might have hoped that the scrutiny on him would be lifted after Tottenham returned to winning ways in style at St Mary’s, but that was not the case.
The 3000 travelling fans continued expressing their displeasure towards the 62-year-old even after the side’s 5-0 win.
What the Spurs fans chanted about Levy
According to TBR Football, the travelling Spurs fans unveiled banners calling for Levy to step down, with one banner reading: ‘Profits before glory. ENIC out. Levy out. Enough is enough’.
The report reveals that chants of ‘Levy out’ could be heard ringing from the away section throughout the game.
The Tottenham supporters also came up with a creative chant after the final whistle, singing: “I don’t care about Levy, he don’t care about me, all I care about is Kulusevski!”

Tottenham fans should keep up the pressure on Daniel Levy
Many Tottenham supporters have felt for a while now that the Spurs chairman’s decisions are the main reasons for the club’s failure to challenge for trophies.
Managers have been the ones who have attracted the ire of the fans over recent years at Spurs, but it is Levy who is now in the firing line, which many will feel was a long time coming.
One would hope that the supporters will keep up the pressure on the club’s chairman until the January window so that he is left with no choice but to back Postecoglou with the signings he wants.
