Inter Milan facing ‘dilemma’ as Spurs ready big offer for midfielder

Tottenham Hotspur are now reportedly ready to tempt Inter Milan with a big offer for a midfielder who they only signed in the summer.

The player in question is Davide Frattesi, who has not been a regular in the Nerazzurri starting eleven since his switch from Saussolo back in the summer.

The Italy international has been linked with a shock exit from the San Siro, just six months on from arriving.

It first emerged last week that Ange Postecoglou‘s men are fans of the 25-year-old and see him as someone who can upgrade his stocks in the middle of the park.

Tottenham‘s interest in Frattesi is now backed up by Spazio Inter, who suggest that the Premier League side are ready to step up their pursuit of the player.

It is alleged that the North London club would be willing to offer €35m (£29m) for the former Sassuolo man in January.

The report explains that this would give Inter a potential dilemma as although they rate Frattesi as a ‘high-level prospect’, they might be tempted to cash in on him.

Spazio Inter reveal that Simone Inzaghi remains a fan of the midfielder and would like to keep him at the club for the time being.

However, it is pointed out that Inter’s financial health is not very good at this point and a big offer from Tottenham might be difficult for them to turn down.

As a result, the Serie A club ‘could push’ Frattesi out of the door in January, or would at least ‘seriously evaluate’ an offer from Spurs.
