The Edinburgh Derby clash will take place on Sunday 17 November; with kick-off set for 4:10pm.

Fixtures

  • Hearts Women Vs. Hibernian Women - Sun, Nov 17th 2024, 16:10

The Lowdown

Hibs head into the match in great form and remain unbeaten in six - winning five and drawing once - since the tailend of September.

A shellacking of Aberdeen in the league was promptly followed up with a huge Sky Sports Cup triumph last weekend.

Grant Scott's side defeated Partick Thistle at Petershill Park, with Poppy Lawson's first-half strike succeeded by a second Kathleen McGovern hat-trick in as many games.

The brilliant performance earned the Hibees a 4-1 victory on the day, sealing our spot in the semi-finals of the competition.

Aberdeen await in the final four following Tuesday's draw.

The Hosts

The home team have continued to impress following their strong start to the 2024/25 season.

Hearts did not have a match last Sunday after Glasgow City knocked the Gorgie club out of the Sky Sports Cup in September.

However, a nine-goal victory over Dundee United two weekends ago secured their fourth consecutive win heading into Sunday's derby.

This weekend's hosts currently sit third in the ScottishPower Women's Premier League table, earning 30 points from 12 fixtures.

The first Capital Cup clash of the campaign ended in bitter defeat for Hibs, with Hearts walking away with a 4-0 victory.
