Savannah Bananas Returning To Boston, Fenway Park In Summer 2025

The Savannah Bananas invigorated the summer baseball scene the last two summers in Massachusetts, playing at Campanelli Stadium in 2023 and making their Fenway Park debut in 2024.

The games energized massive crowds and showed a fun side of a reimagined baseball game. That's led to a return to Massachusetts for a third straight summer and this time for multiple days.

The Bananas announced Thursday night that they will once again play at Fenway Park in summer 2025. They'll play two games on July 5 and 6 for their third and fourth games in the Bay State over the last three years.

In June 2024, special guests and Boston Red Sox alumni in Bill Lee, Mitch Moreland, Jonathan Papelbon and Jonny Gomes took the field in uniform to appear for the Bananas. Johnny Damon also appeared during the game in Brockton in 2023, leaving the door open for more Red Sox connections during the next installment at Fenway Park.
