The Everton Forum • Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through

Fans really have to stop worrying about the level of debt. The absolute level is irrelevant. It’s the amount it costs to service that debt and whether you have the ability to comfortably cover that cost of debt.

Its really of no concern if your revenue more than covers the payments. You can still make a profit despite having debt. Its whether than debt is sustainable and serviceable.

Apple have $101bn of debt, and it’s fairly obvious why no one is worrying about them.

It’s the same with any company. And the fact is that the majority of our debt has been to invest in the clubs assets.

Long term, this is a game changer for the club. It will result in more revenue across the board forever. £600m will pale into significance when you consider that the next 100-150 years of revenue will be increased by £50m-£100m per year. Add inflation onto those increases and the effects are enormous.

Next 150 years?? Are you telling us our grandkids grandkids grandkids might see a decent everton?? Excited for the future now
