NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) - With college football season officially underway, K-Nation is fully in fall-sports mode.

This week's episode deep dives into the season openers for both KU and K-State football, analyzing the best offensive and defensive moments from both games.

Wildcat and Jayhawk alumni were making appearances all over the map this week. KU basketball's Gradey Dick and Chris Teahan were in the stands supporting KU football, while Cooper Beebe and Reggie Stubblefield got their first tastes of tailgating and cheering on K-State football.

KU and K-State volleyball both opened their seasons with tournaments on the road. KU is 3-0 on the year, while K-State is 1-2. Wildcat and Jayhawk soccer also took to the pitch, with K-State going 2-0 on the week and KU going 0-1-1 with a no contest against Brown.

KU football's Cornell Wheeler joined K-Nation's Caroline Soro for a one-on-one interview following Thursday's game.

New K-State assistant track coach Tara Davis-Woodhall joined K-Nation's Landon Reinhardt in a one-on-one interview after winning a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
