Tottenham learn who they will play in Europa League group stage
Tottenham Hotspur have today found out who they will face in the group stage of the 2024/25 Europa League.

Like the Champions League, the old Europa League group stage phase has been ripped apart and done away with. 36 teams will now compete in a league format with each club facing eight different opponents, with four home fixtures and four away fixtures.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side are joined by 35 other teams in a single league, with sides playing eight different opponents as they strive to reach the knockout phase, which will feature an extra play-off round before the round of 16.
Although each team will only face eight opponents, the draw is designed to provide a fair fixture list for each club based on the pot they have been drawn out of.
Who will Tottenham play in the Europa League group stage?
The top eight will progress straight to the last 16. Clubs finishing ninth to 24th will contest an additional play-off round and those finishing 25th to 36th will be eliminated from the season’s European competitions completely.
Tottenham were in Pot 1 in the draw and will face the following clubs:
Roma home
Rangers away
AZ Alkmaar home
Ferencvaros away
Qarabag home
Galatasaray away
Elfsborg home
Hoffenheim away
The matchdays and kick-off times will be formulated by UEFA and released on Saturday, August 31.
