Whisky Tasting

After the success of The Shipwrecked Dram last season, we will be continuing our Spirits Partnership with Gleann Mor Spirits to produce even more special edition whisky and gin this year. 

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our Coca Cola Cup victory in 1994, we will be recreating a special edition ‘Final Blend’. 

To make this bottling even more special, we are inviting supporters to be part of creating the blend at a special whisky tasting event at Stark’s Park, hosted by Gleann Mor Spirits’ Head of Operations Greg Urquhart.

Greg commented, “We are delighted to be working with the club on a bespoke range of products. The idea of working with the fans on a unique bottling is something I find especially exciting.“

This unique tasting will take you through the flavour profiles used by the popular brand Whisky Row, and then give everyone a chance to sample and create the recipe which will be used to create the Final Blend. 

Guests will also be treated to a welcome whisky cocktail and a dram of our successful Shipwrecked Dram. 

As well as all of this, included in the price will be a pre-ordered bottle of the whisky, which is getting bottled on the 27th of November at 3pm – the exact time we kicked off that incredible game. 

The event will take place at Stark’s Park on Friday 4th October at 7pm.

The Full Package:

– Welcome whisky cocktail 

– 3 Whisky Row whiskies 

– Whisky sampling and blending experience 

– The Shipwrecked Dram (25ml)

– Pre-ordered bottle of The Final Blend

– Light bites and nibbles 

– Price: £75 (£65 for Club 1883) per person (price includes bottle of whisky)

Club 1883 members will receive exclusive early access to tickets for this event, as well as a discounted price of £65.

Members will be emailed with full booking details and have until Monday, 2nd September to reserve their place.

The remaining tickets will then be available for general sale from Monday at 6pm.
