‘Still All Quiet’ Around Possible Exit For Leeds United Star

Leeds United’s hopes of keeping hold of one of their attackers have been boosted as it is ‘still all quiet’ on the transfer front regarding him, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

 

Daniel Farke’s men are entering a busy period where they are looking to make no fewer than three signings before the window closes until January.

 

They will also have to guard against the departures of key men though, having already failed to keep Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.

 

 

Willy Gnonto has been linked with the exit door throughout the summer, with Everton holding a notable interest in the Italian.

 

However, in a boost for Leeds, it is ‘still all quiet’ around Gnonto as the transfer window clock ticks.

 

 

The attacker is expected to play a big role at Leeds this season if he does stay put.

 

There is still time for clubs to go in for Gnonto, who missed out on a spot in Italy’s Euro 2024 squad earlier this summer.

 

 

Last summer the attacker had believed that staying at Leeds would hurt his national team hopes and pushed to go.
